Having spent essentially an entire year out of the country, you’d be quite right in assuming that the thought of passive income crossed my mind on a regular basis.

Yes, even when I’m out here enjoying some continue reading at Steemit

I’m back in the Bay Area, enjoying some good weather and sunshine. In the process of being back home, I’ve been making efforts to reconnect with friends, readers, and basically anyone who wants to talk shop about early FI, travel, and investing.

Just this past weekend, I had a string of meet ups and like always when I’ve been gone for awhile, It takes me time to continue reading at Steemit

Oh shit, what the hell just happened?

I can vouch for that because that’s kind of how it went for me… I was just some regular [click to continue…]

Hey everyone, I am now writing to you all from Cebu! I arrived last night, and was initially planning on heading on over to the beaches today, but I woke up to some heavy rainfall this morning…

Oh well, that’s just the way things go sometimes…

When it comes to Cebu, although this is my very first trip out to the Philippines, it’s had a special place in my heart for awhile now… You see, when I first started getting serious about achieving early FI in 2012, I started hitting the books hard and doing a lot of research into investing. By mid 2012, I had [click to continue…]

Happy holidays everyone! I’m still writing to you all from Hong Kong, where I have been based since October (after returning from a month long stint in Japan). As the year winds down, I think now is a good time for me to reflect on everything that has happened in 2016…

As readers may recall, I quit my job earlier this year, and decided it was due time for me to walk away from Corporate America so that I could pursue the next [click to continue…]

Early FI – There Are No Rules!

I’ve been blogging now for over 4 years, and anyone who has followed along for awhile now knows full well that I don’t very much like to follow any set rules… For instance, when we first got the party started, I was extremely [click to continue…]

Market timing. It gets such a bad rap… If your experience with investing has been anything remotely similar to mine, I’m sure that you’ll recall the moment when you first stumbled upon the concept of Buy and Hold Forever Investing. Whether through the channels of Dividend Growth Investing (DGI), Index Investing, or even Real Estate Investing (REI), the popular mantra out there (for the longest time) has been that market timing is a fool’s game, and that the only way to really [click to continue…]

So, as readers of the blog know, I’m a huge fan of networking and connecting with other like-minded individuals. Throughout this blog’s history, it’s safe to say that what I’ve gotten most out of the work I’ve put in are the opportunities and doors that have opened up because of my efforts. Quite frankly, without this blog, I would not have [click to continue…]
